What is a qualifying purchase?
Qualifying purchases are taxable single purchases made between February 10, 2010 and June 30, 2010 for an amount greater than or equal to $20,000 from a business that reports sales taxes in the City of Anaheim. Rebates are equal to 0.5% of the qualifying purchase.

Does the qualifying sale have to be one item, or can it be a combination of items?
The qualifying sale does not have to be a single item. It must be a single purchase, which can be a combination of items purchased at one time from one business.

How much should I expect for my rebate?
The rebate amount is equal to 0.5% of the qualifying purchase amount. As an example, for the minimum amount of $20,000, you will receive $100 as the rebate.

Can I still get a rebate on purchases paid with a credit card?
Yes. The form of payment is not a factor to qualify for the rebate.

What's the minimum purchase amount to qualify for a rebate?
The minimum qualifying purchase amount is $20,000.

What's the maximum purchase amount to qualify for a rebate?
There is no maximum purchase amount for a rebate.

I made a purchase from a business that is not pre-registered. Can I still request the rebate?
Yes. If the business from whom you made the purchase in not pre-registered, you may still submit a Rebate Request for your purchase.

I purchased something for my business, which form should I complete?
If you made a qualifying purchase for your business and were not given the rebate at time of sale, you may submit a Rebate Request for your purchase.

How long does it take for me to receive my rebate check?
You can expect to receive your rebate in approximately 2 weeks of receipt of request.

When is the deadline to submit the rebate request?
Purchases must be made no later than June 30, 2010. Rebate requests must be postmarked or electronically submitted by July 31, 2010, 11:59 PM, PST.

Will my original receipt be returned to me?
Yes. When you submit the original receipt with your application, we will mail it back to you, enclosed with your rebate check.
