Our volunteer harvesters help residents, with an abundance of backyard fresh fruits and vegetables they cannot or would not harvest themselves, donate their produce to organizations that are feeding the needy in Orange County. We prevent a valuable resource from being wasted and bring fresh and healthy food to the hungry. The Harvest Club started three years ago in the greater Huntington Beach area in Orange County and we are now looking to start a local harvest team in Anaheim. One of our key strategies is to minimize the distance between where food is grown and where it is eaten. We are looking for harvest volunteers so that we can respond to local growers and deliver to Anaheim-based, charitable organizations. If you have a fruit tree that produces more than you can use, or would like to help harvest with us, please go to our website and sign up, or call the number listed. If you know of local civic and/or faith-based organizations that are helping to feed people, please send us that information at: theharvestclub@gmail.com.

| Youth Leadership America (YLA) is a non-profit organization that fosters leadership among America ' s youth in order to promote positive change. Our motto is that "leaders are made, not born." By bringing young, aspiring leaders into the community we help the youth develop and mature into the leaders of tomorrow. By letting the YLA youth board choose their own activities and direction, we create an atmosphere in which the youth can learn to be leaders by actually leading. |
