Compost Compost Giveaway

Fourth Annual Compost Giveaway

The Department of Public Works in partnership with Republic Services sponsored the 4th Annual Compost Giveaway at Western High School on Saturday, April 14, 2011 and Katella High School on Saturday, April 21, 2012.

Compost was distributed to approximately 760 vehicles with “drive through” convenience while staff filled residents’ containers. Residents also had the opportunity to purchase Earth Machine Compost Bins to make their own compost at home. For more information on how to compost at home, please visit www.anaheim.net/composting.
