Solid Waste Management Plan
The City of Anaheim asks developers to submit a Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) to identify and document the method(s) used to collect solid waste for projects including but not limited to residential, mixed use (residential and commercial) and commercial developments. The SWMP is submitted to the Department of Public Works, Operations Division, with supporting documents by the applicant. When approved, the SWMP is used to support solid waste removal services for the specific development.

Trash Container Specifications
The City of Anaheim provides residential customers with three (3)trash containers for the collection of solid waste. Containers are available in two (2) dimensions and must be placed in an approved location for collection that is free from obstructions such as electric poles, mail boxes, and large shrubbery. Containers must be stored out of public view on non-collection days.
