  6. An Evening with Mars at Central

    **Event Update While our previous event, may be canceled, instead the Anaheim Central Library will be hosting an “Evening on Mars”. This event will be hosted live by NASA Solar System Ambassador, John Hoot, and will explore the Mars InSight Mission, its landing earlier in the day, as well as the part that robotics has played in this mission. John Hoot is the Director of the SSSC Observatory, holds over 15 patents, written numerous articles, and has designed telescopes and various astronomical instrumentation. This will program is open to all ages. It will be followed by light refreshments. Discover the joys of space travel and beyond in this rare opportunity to talk to an astronaut in real time during a special Skype session at the Anaheim Central Library. Come prepared with questions to ask our daring and intrepid space explorer. Light refreshments will be served. All ages are welcome to attend!
