  2. VIRTUAL: Book to Action -- A Conversation with National Book Award winning author Ibram X. Kendi

    In collaboration with CSU Chico’s Book in Common program, OC Public Libraries, and additional community partners focused on reading and discussing "How to Be An Antiracist", a virtual conversation is scheduled with author Ibram X. Kendi. Participating libraries and community members will be invited to join others across the state for this special event. The conversation will situate the central themes of the book, including definitions and examples of anti-racism and racism, and discuss how to move from reflection to taking meaningful action on issues of racial equity.
