Historic
Commercial Redevelopment Planned for Lincoln Avenue/East Street
In
order to save two historic houses from demolition, the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency has relocated the structures to Agency-owned land at the northwest
corner of Lincoln Avenue and East Street. The Agency entered into a Disposition
and Development Agreement with Clean City Inc., to restore the buildings.
Both structures will undergo substantial rehabilitation to historical
standards, converting them into a commercial use. Once restored, the completed
project will complement the age and architecture found in the surrounding
neighborhoods within the Anaheim Colony Historic District. The District
is bounded by East, South, West, and North Streets.
