 The Mountain Park project will be developed within an approximately 3,001 acre site in Gypsum Canyon, south of the Riverside (SR-91) Freeway, east and west of the Eastern Transportation Corridor (SR-241). The project allows for the development of up to 2,500 new homes, a city fire station, an elementary school site and adjacent public community park, a trail staging area, and public and private recreational facilities, including public riding and hiking trails. The project will preserve approximately 2,163 acres of the site as permanent open space. |
