On April 26, 2005, the
Anaheim City Council approved City zoning
classifications and General Plan designations for
the unincorporated "Garza" county islands. The City
Council meeting followed a Planning Commission
meeting held on April 18, 2005 during which the
Commission recommended that the City Council approve
the proposed zone classifications and General Plan
designations. The adoption of zone classifications
and General Plan designations was an important step
in the annexation process.
