• Did You Know? On November 28, 1942, the Cocoanut Grove Night Club fire, still this nation’s deadliest nightclub fire, killed 492 people. The Boston nightclub had some of its doors bricked up or bolted, and the main entrance was only a revolving door. The club had a licensed capacity of 500, but on the fatal night about 1,000 customers were inside.                                    Source:NFPA
