Kraemer Station
5, which opened its door in 1961, is located in the central-east section
of the city. It is located at 1154 N Kraemer Blvd, and houses Paramedic
Engine 5. Its "first-in" district is comprised of mostly heavy industrial
occupancies. It also has two freeways it spends time responding on the
91 freeway and the 57 freeway. Due to the nature of its "first-in" area,
in addition to the call responsibilities Engine 5 has one of the heaviest
fire-prevention workloads of all the stations.
