Teen CERT Training
This summer, we offered our first ever Teen CERT Class. In collaboration with the Disney Goals Organization, we provided the 20-hour CERT Training to kids ranging from 12-19 years old and held classes on -site at the Disney Goals Headquarters in Anaheim. The training was specifically tailored to meet the needs of the youth while still covering the FEMA recognized CERT Curriculum. Activities throughout the training were enhanced to include much more hands-on training and team activities. Disney Goals can now boast about having the first Southern California Teen CERT team!!!
We are hoping to take Teen CERT to the local high schools in our community in an effort to better prepare and train students and administrators throughout the City of Anaheim.
