We <3 Our Families Craft and Resource Fair
@ South Junior High School

The “We <3 Our Families Community Craft Fair” on Saturday February 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m until 12:00 noon will provide families an opportunity to participate in Valentine’s Day themed arts, crafts, and games. The purpose of the event will be to promote love and unity within family structures. In addition to being a positive family activity, the event will provide volunteer opportunities for students in clubs at South Junior High School. Student clubs will host arts, craft, and game tables. The event will be held free of charge and be open to all. Local community resource agencies will also be available for families to speak to. The idea for this event sparked from the brainstorming of the Community Volunteer Committee at South Junior High (a committee of parents and community member that meets bi-weekly).

Art Crawl Experience
@ Downtown Anaheim

For the third year, the Downtown Anaheim Arts District will host the Art Crawl Experience, or simply “ACE.” This free art walk and arts festival will feature downtown galleries, an indie crafts/live artists fair, live entertainment, gourmet food trucks, fresh eateries and new boutiques. The ACE committee announced the 2013 dates will be February 9, May 11, August 10 and November 9.
