Help us improve our community resiliency, join us for basic classes on disaster preparedness, and action steps you can take during and immediately after a disaster. The class includes the following training modules: Disaster Preparedness; CERT and Terrorism; Fire Safety and Utility Controls; Disaster Medical Operations I (Triage); Disaster Medical Operations II (First Aid & Sanitation); Light Search and Rescue; Team Organization; Disaster Psychology and Final Skills Scenario Drill. Students completing training will receive a response equipment kit.

The workshops are designed to support input for the 2014-21 Housing Element Update, to be adopted by the City Council this fall, and to gather community input on the opportunities and challenges towards meeting the housing needs of current and future Anaheim residents. A second series of workshops to be held this summer will focus on potential policies and programs aimed at addressing the City’s housing needs.
