22nd Annual Transportation Faire/Chili Cook-Off

@ Center Street Promenade

This year's theme is 'Ridesharing Gets In Shape' - there are 20 booths competing in the Chili Cook-Off from 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM as well as live entertainment, raffle drawings, and informational booths. All proceeds benefit Anaheim Community Foundation/Oak Canyon Nature Center, Anaheim Library Foundation/Books to Read for Kids in Need, and American Lung Association/SCAMP Camp.

COST: Tasting tickets $0.50 ea. Raffle tickets $1.00 ea.

Local civic, business and community leaders will gather on September 18, 2013 at 12:00 pm for a luncheon at the Anaheim White House Restaurant in Anaheim to hear updates from FACT Alliance on their “Let’s Respond” campaign to raise money for the aftercare of sex trafficking victims. ANAHEIM, CA - (September 10, 2013) The City of Anaheim has formally opened the recruitment process for a permanent Chief of Police. The first step is to hear from the community on the qualities they would like to see in this highly demanding and highly visible law enforcement position, as well as to hear first-hand about the key issues and priorities the new Chief of Police should address.

The City welcomes the community’s input. For those unable to attend, comments will be accepted through an online survey. Please click on the link below to submit your comments.
