| Anaheim CERT Mission Statement
"The City of Anaheim Community Emergency Response Teams strive to create a network of informed, trained and resourceful volunteers with a focus on disaster preparedness and the ability to help themselves and their neighbors during an emergency."
In
a City of nearly 350,000 residents, a center
of business and commerce, and a site of international
tourism, Anaheim welcomes over half a million
people to its city every day. And, with fewer
than 100 fire personnel on duty at a given
time, local emergency resources will be quickly
overwhelmed in a major disaster.
Understanding
this phenomenon, Anaheim began providing CERT
training to community residents and employees
in 1992. Since its inception in 1992, Anaheim
has certified nearly a thousand people and
continues training the community several times
a year.
Our
motto is “Neighbors Helping Neighbors”,
and we believe in providing you the training
and tools to help yourself, your family and
your community.
Anaheim provides world class training because of our dedicated and talented .
