California - June 25, 2001 - The City of Anaheim Business License
Division announces the availability of new Business License applications
via the Internet.
The
new program is one more step in simplifying the Business License
process for new businesses and meeting the needs of busy business
owners. This process allows new applications from one's office
by following a few easy steps and is available around the clock.
By
simply accessing selecting "working in Anaheim"
in the top navigation on the City website, and then selecting
the "business license inquiry" option, several
activities become available. The site provides explanations
and inquiry capabilities that will serve to educate the business
owner as well as allowing for online processing of applications.
Once
a new application has been submitted, staff will review it and
notify the business owner of any necessary changes. These changes
can then be made online. Upon acceptance of the application,
the Business License Division will bill the applicant for the
corresponding fees. Once fees are received, the Business Tax
Certificate will be mailed.
