     Summer is here! Are you ready to experience a camping adventure right here in Anaheim? Sign up for Family Camp Under the Stars Overnighter and you will enjoy arts and crafts, activities, and games and of course no campout would be complete without campfire songs, skits and s'mores! Come on down, bring your tent and camping gear and enjoy! Dinner and breakfast will be served.

Discover Nature Saturday

     These informative, educational programs introduce you to the Oak Canyon Nature Center through a variety of themes, such as "Coastal Sage in Bloom" and "Birds of the Canyon."  The programs always include a guided hike led by a staff naturalist.  The programs begin at 10 a.m. and are FREE.  Excellent for scouts and other groups.

Summer Nature Nights

     Enjoy these entertaining and educational programs held on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer in the outdoor amphitheater!  Presentations may include slides, films, exhibits, and live animal demonstrations.  Come at 7:00 p.m. for a naturalist-guided twilight walk through the canyon -- the formal program by a guest presenter, begins at 7:30 p.m.  Programs have included "Reptiles from Around the World," "Birds of Prey in Orange County," "Exploring the Night Sky," "Exploring Owl Pellets," and the popular end of the summer "Flashlight Hike."  The programs are FREE.  Excellent for scouts and other groups.

Cinema Under The Stars

Enjoy some of your favorite movies under a summer canopy of oaks and stars! The Oak Canyon Nature Center's "Cinema Under the Stars" movie nights program begins this summer on Friday evenings from June 27 through August 29.

Movies will be shown on Oak Canyon's amphitheater stage.
