Baseball Coach Arrested for Sexually Enticing Players
ANAHEIM, CA - (June 13, 2013) - On June 10, 2013 a report was filed at the Anaheim Police Department alleging a volunteer baseball coach at Katella High School (Anaheim) was sending minor baseball players sexually explicit text messages. Through investigation, Anaheim Police Detectives identified and arrested Edwin Alan Wikstrom, of Anaheim, while he was coaching a baseball game in Lakewood, CA. Wikstrom was booked at the Anaheim Police Department Temporary Detention Facility on suspicion of sending sexually explicit text messages to minors, a felony. His bail is $100,000.00. Wikstrom is a long-time baseball coach throughout Southern California and it is believed there could be additional victims.
