Thank you to all the volunteers for helping make the 2009 Gift of History event a success.

The 2009 Gift of History, inspires reading and history for students in the City of Anaheim hosted by Mayor Curt Pringle. Every Anaheim 3^rd grade student in attendance received a backpack with school supplies and the children’s book "Anna's Home by the River," highlighting the history of Anaheim.

Over 5000 third grade students from public &  private schools attended the event celebrating the joys of reading, history and learning. Students, teachers and administrators from 6 districts were in attendance.
