The City of Anaheim expects to receive approximately $38 million in federal entitlement funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) over the next five years to provide decent housing, create a suitable living environment and expand economic opportunities predominately for low and moderate income residents. In order to receive HUD funds, the City is required to submit a five-year Consolidated Plan that includes, but is not limited to, an assessment of community needs. The City is conducting a community needs survey to help identify neighborhood priorities. Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Division establishes and maintains the One-Stop Service Delivery system for the City of Anaheim and manages the Anaheim Workforce Center, a technology-based employment and education environment that provides job-seeker and employer services in one central location.
