COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The Community Development Department implements a variety of Programs to assist in the development of the City's economic future and foster a better quality of life. These programs encompass physical revitalization of targeted areas, retaining and attracting businesses to Anaheim, creating new residential opportunities, revitalization of neighborhoods and job training opportunities.

The City of Anaheim expects to receive approximately $38 million in federal entitlement funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) over the next five years to provide decent housing, create a suitable living environment and expand economic opportunities predominately for low and moderate income residents. In order to receive HUD funds, the City is required to submit a five-year Consolidated Plan that includes, but is not limited to, an assessment of community needs.
The City is conducting a community needs survey to help identify neighborhood priorities. Please complete one survey by selecting the appropriate link below:

The Workforce Development Division establishes and maintains the One-Stop Service Delivery system for the City of Anaheim and manages the Anaheim Workforce Center, a technology-based employment and education environment that provides job-seeker and employer services in one central location.
