Director of Public Works Natalie Meeks | Whether it's designing a major highway or new sewer and storm drain project, applying innovative traffic management techniques to solving Anaheim's traffic problems, or overseeing the construction of a new public building, Public Works provides a myriad of comprehensive services to meet a variety of the City's infrastructure, construction, and development needs.
Specifically, the Department provides all City entities with efficient, professional and progressive service through the following divisions:
Administration provides general planning and management of the department, including policy direction, and program evaluation.Combined within Administration is Transit Planning, which promotes improved mobility by enabling mode choices with reliable travel times.
The Engineering Division includes the following sections: Traffic and Transportation, Design Services, Subdivisions, Records, and Real Property.
Construction Services provides inspection and survey services for all City capital improvement projects well as inspections for privately funded right-of-way improvements and grading. The Construction Services Division also provides project construction contract administration.
Financial and Administrative Services is responsible for accounting, budgeting and support services for the Department of Public Works.
Fleet and Facility Services maintains the City’s motorized equipment, buildings, and related infrastructures. The Division also provides support services to other departments with their day-to-day operational needs.
Public Works Operations is made up of Streets and Sanitation and Resort District Maintenance Services and is responsible for maintenance of streets, sidewalks, sewers, storm drains, right-of-way landscape, traffic signals, and the Anaheim Resort as well as solid waste collection and disposal. |
