Emergency Management Division
Emergency Management operates under the direction of the Emergency Management Division Director and consists of: management and oversight of the City of Anaheim Emergency Operations Center, Disaster Preparedness, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteer program and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) volunteer program. The division ensures that both City employees and residents are as prepared as possible for disasters that are natural, technological or intentional. This is accomplished by providing: employee and citizen education in preparedness; training employees in disaster response, management, and recovery; and maintaining the City Disaster Plans.
