Established in 1857, Anaheim Fire & Rescue has grown from a group of volunteers with buckets of water and a horse-drawn wagon with tools, to a professional, municipal all-hazards fire agency. Anaheim Fire & Rescue employs 278 professionals that serve a resident base of over 300,000 people.

As a major tourist destination, Anaheim Fire & Rescue remains active serving our residents, business community and countless visitors who come to enjoy our many various venues including Disneyland, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. Anaheim Fire & Rescue is composed of many different divisions, and sections that are featured on this web site. We continue to provide quality services in public safety, safety education, fire prevention & fire suppression.
