The following three measures will be placed on the ballot at the June 3, 2014 special municipal election.

Measure 1 ballot language and Language for Proposed Charter Amendments
Measure 2 ballot language and language for Proposed Charter
Measure 3 ballot language

Over the past seven months, the seven member Charter Review Committee conducted a comprehensive review of the Charter – often referred to as the City’s “Constitution”— and held nearly a dozen community input meetings. After thoroughly reviewing the more than 50 page document, the Charter Review Committee plans to present their Charter amendments to the City Council at the February 4th Council meeting. The City Council will determine which of these amendments will be placed on an election ballot, but ultimately, no changes can be made to the City’s Charter without the vote of the people.
