The Prosecution Division goal is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public through the effective prosecution of misdemeanor and infraction offenses within the jurisdiction of the Anaheim City Attorney in accordance with ethical obligations and professional standards.
City Prosecutors are guided by well-established professional rules of conduct and case filing decisions are based on the requirements contained in the California District Attorneys Association's Uniform Crime Charging Standards.
