Street and Sidewalk Maintenance
The Street Maintenance goal is to maintain the City’s network of 640 centerline miles of streets and alleys in a safe and usable condition and to facilitate the flow of traffic. Street Maintenance paves 2,000,000 square feet of deteriorated pavement and slurry seals 4,000,000 square feet of asphalt pavement annually. Maintenance includes pothole repairs, repairs of utility cuts, asphalt patching and asphalt resurfacing. To inquire about a street maintenance project or to report a problem, please contact Greg Ortega at (714) 765-6935 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org .
It is our goal to maintain all City sidewalks and curbs in a safe and usable condition and ensure public safety by replacing 50,200 square feet of displaced, uplifted or deteriorated sidewalk and 12,500 linear feet of damaged curbs and gutters each year. Sidewalk/Curb Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance of 916 miles of sidewalks and 1,137 of curbs and gutters.
