The ARTIC project is a partnership between the City of Anaheim and the OCTA, and is a multi-year project, that will offer new and/or expanded transportation services and development. The project shall serve as an intermodal hub for several transit modes such as Amtrak, Metrolink, local and international bus, shuttles, bikes/pedestrians, Anaheim Rapid Connection, High-Speed Rail, and the proposed California-Nevada Maglev. It will also provide opportunities for Public Private Partnerships (P3) development for commercial, retail, office and residential uses with its location in the City’s Platinum Triangle Mixed Use Overlay Zone.

Anaheim Rapid Connection is a fixed-guideway system currently in the environmental review process that will connect Anaheim area destinations like never before. Starting at ARTIC, this new system will take visitors, high-speed rail riders, employees and area residents to and from the Platinum Triangle, the Anaheim Resort Area and the Convention Center. With ARC it will be easier for conventioneers to catch a ball game, out-of-towners to get to Disneyland, residents to dine at The Shops at Anaheim GardenWalk, or thousands of area employees to get to and from work - all without having to drive.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) has proposed high speed train service for intercity travel in California between major metropolitan centers of the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento in the north, through the Central Valley, to Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Diego in the south. The station is located at 2150 E. Katella Avenue. It is currently served by Amtrak and Metrolink Orange County Line passenger rail services, as well as being a hub for local and rail-feeder bus services operated by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA).

||California-Nevada Super Speed (MagLev) Train |
The California-Nevada Interstate Maglev project is proposing the construction of a 269-mile Maglev train line from Las Vegas, Nevada to Anaheim, California. The first 40-mile segment received $45 million in 2005 for the planning phase. This segment would run from Las Vegas to Primm, Nevada, with proposed service to the new Las Vegas Airport.
