Kraemer Station 5, which opened its door in 1961, is located in the central-east section of the city. It is located at 1154 N Kraemer Blvd, and houses Paramedic Engine 5. Its "first-in" district is comprised of mostly heavy industrial occupancies. Station 5 also responds to both the 91 and 57 freeways. Due to the nature of its "first-in" area, in addition to the call responsibilities Engine 5 has one of the heaviest fire-prevention workloads of all the stations.
