Home Incentives Program Rebates. After reading the information and
guidelines below, you may access and
complete our online Application.
Upon completion, you may print out, sign,
attach the appropriate documentation and
mail your form to our Rebate Processing
Center at the address listed below

You may scan your completed and signed application, receipts and other appropriate documentation, then e-mail your document package to Anaheim Public Utilities Home Incentives Program Project Manager.

Application Process Overview
|
|
After purchasing a qualifying Energy Star®-rated appliance, other qualifying appliance or eligible conservation measure, please follow the steps below: |
| 1. |
Complete, print out and sign an online application.
Include an original, or legible copy, of your paid sales receipts or invoices, which must include:
|
|
| The product’s brand name; | |
| Manufacturer model number; | |
| The purchase price and date; and | |
| The product’s efficiency information. |
|
|
2. | If you are applying for Energy Star Certified Window rebates, you also must include:
|
| | |
A Window Incentive Worksheet (Click Here to print out), which your contractor has completed; |
| |
The stickers that show the actual U Value and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) – both must be 0.40 or less.
|
|
|
3. | Include a copy of a recent Anaheim Public Utilities bill.
|
| 4. | Mail the entire application package to:

5. | All rebate applications are processed at the Advantage Services Rebate Processing Center.
|
6. | An Anaheim Public Utilities representative may call to schedule a physical inspection of your installed appliance or conservation measure prior to issuing a rebate.
|
| 7. | You must keep your inspection appointment to ensure that your application is processed in a timely manner. If you need to reschedule, contact the Advantage Services Rebate Processing Center at 714/939-9020.
|
| 8. | Note that insufficient or incorrect data may delay your rebate check.
|
|
9. | Rebate checks are normally mailed within 30 days from the date of approval.
|

Qualifying Energy Star-rated products are listed
on the Environmental Protection Agency’s Web site at www.energystar.gov.
In addition to the Energy Star Web site, qualifying clothes
washers are also listed on the Consortium for Energy Efficiency’s Web site at www.cee1.org.

Home Incentive Program Guidelines:
|
It is very important that you carefully read the customer information guidelines listed below. By accessing, completing and then signing the Application Form, you are indicating that you have read and that you understand and agree to the following:
|
|
1. |
Applicant receives electric service from Anaheim Public Utilities.
|
| 2. | Applicant for a clothes washer rebate receives water service from Anaheim Public Utilities.
|
| 3. | NOTE: Beginning May 1, 2005, the criteria for qualified clothes washers are changing:
|
| A clothes washer purchased on or after May 1, 2005, must have a Water Factor (WF) of 6.0 or lower to qualify for a rebate. |
| For an applicant purchasing a clothes washer with a WF above 6.0 prior to May 1, 2005, the application, along with proof of purchase, must be postmarked on or before November 1, 2005, or it will be denied. |
| Applicants planning to purchase a clothes washer on or after May 1, 2005, after the new program criteria are in effect, should contact the Advantage Services Rebate Processing Center at 714/939-9020 to request a list of qualified washers or to confirm program eligibility. |
|

4. | Incentives are limited to residential customers for residential use. The appliance(s) must be installed in a residential dwelling within the Anaheim Public Utilities service area. A residential dwelling is defined as a single-family home, condominium, apartment or mobile home permanently located within the Anaheim Public Utilities service area. The dwelling must be fully constructed and occupied (no new construction).

| 5. | A signed application and legible copies of your paid sales receipts for each product must be returned to Advantage Services at the address listed above or e-mail address provided. To expedite your application, include a copy of your recent Anaheim Public Utilities bill.
|
| 6. | Application packages submitted online via e-mail must include a scanned copy of a completed and signed application, along with scanned copies of purchase receipts and all other supporting documentation.
|
|
7. | The incentive offer is on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is expended or the program is discontinued by Anaheim Public Utilities. The incentive check will be mailed within 30 days following application approval.
|
| 8. | Applicant understands and agrees that Anaheim Public Utilities or its representative may inspect the installed product before the incentive is paid.
|
| 9. | Applicant agrees that any incentive may be credited toward any delinquent (as currently defined in the Rates, Rules and Regulations for the City of Anaheim) utility bill(s) for which the customer is responsible whether the account(s) is open or closed. The water and electric system Rates, Rules and Regulations may be accessed on this Web site.
|
| 10. | Applicant understands that Anaheim Public Utilities may withhold payment of incentive until all of the conditions listed above are met.
|
| 11. | Anaheim Public Utilities does not warrant, endorse or assume liability for the quality, performance or safety of the contractor and/or retailer or wholesaler. Performance of any product and acceptance of materials used is solely the customer’s responsibility.
|
| 12. | Customer is responsible for meeting all program guidelines and for checking with state/county/city governments and homeowner’s association (if any) in the area regarding local conditions, restrictions, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations prior to installation.
|
| 13. | Maximum of one appliance per category unless customer receives prior approval from Anaheim Public Utilities.
