The California Independent System Operator (California ISO) is not projecting
a Stage 3 Emergency or rotating outages in California at this time.
Anaheim Public Utilities has secured the electric resources needed to
meet the energy needs of our customers. However, the volatility of the
California electric market is creating supply shortages, causing imbalances
between electric supply and demand across the state. Such imbalances cause
the California ISO to call for further load reductions, including rotating outages
in our area, to protect the stability of the statewide transmission grid.
The following list of block numbers could be affected if Anaheim is forced
to reduce load during a Stage 3 Emergency by initiating rotating outages:
