ANAHEIM PUBLIC UTILITIES PRESENTS
FREE BUSINESS SEMINARS
ON HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING UNITS
ANAHEIM, CA (April 7, 2006) - Anaheim Public Utilities invites local businesses to register for a free seminar titled Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems (Package Units), Part II. The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, at City Hall West, 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., in the Gordon Hoyt Conference Center on the second floor. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with lunch provided from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.
This is the second session of a two-part seminar presenting the fundamentals of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems found in residential and small to me¬dium commercial and industrial facilities. Attendance in the first session is not required. The course introduces package unit system components, controls and applications, and presents energy efficiency maintenance and operations concepts, and how package unit efficiency has improved dramatically over recent years. Using audit worksheets in an in-class exercise, we explore package unit replacement economics. Attendees from the first HVAC seminar are reminded to bring their workbooks.
