ANAHEIM PUBLIC UTILITIES PRESENTS FREE BUSINESS SEMINAR ON LIGHTING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

ANAHEIM, CA (July 17, 2006) - Anaheim Public Utilities invites local businesses to register for a free seminar titled Lighting for Small Businesses. The seminar will be held from 5:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, at City Hall West, 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., in the Gordon Hoyt Conference Center on the second floor. Registration begins at 5 p.m., at which time food will be provided. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.

This course is intended for smaller businesses without regular lighting main¬tenance contracts and that generally maintain their own lighting. Much of the lighting in smaller businesses is inefficient or inappropriate. A well-lit facility is better to work in, is more inviting to customers and keeps them coming back. New lighting technologies can yield savings of up to 40-50 percent. Come learn how to be a smart lighting consumer.

Attendees must register by Friday, July 21. Please call 765-4291 or e-mail anaheimpublicutilities@anaheim.net.
