Downtown Anaheim Youth Center

The Downtown Youth Center provides a safe and enriching environment for youth and adults of our community. Using a variety of activities such as recreational and educational activities, the center's programs help develop social skills and encourage a positive self-image. The various programs offered at Downtown Anaheim Youth Center support the healthy development of Anaheim's residents.  

Mission Statement:
"To Provide the highest quality recreation, human, and neighborhood services to Anaheim residents and visitors of all ages, abilities, and economic levels, and to enable residents to assist themselves in improving the livability of their neighborhoods within available resources.


Membership
Membership is free for youth ages 5 to 17. Youth 5 years of age must attend kindergarten to participate. A parent or legal guardian must complete a membership form for each child. Membership forms may be obtained at the Youth Center's front counter.

Facility Rental
Our gymnasium and activity rooms are available for rental by members of the community, schools, and businesses. Please contact the Youth Center Director at (714) 765-6402 for rates and availability.

Project S.A.Y. Teen Program
The Project S.A.Y. (Support Anaheim's Youth) Teen Program is open to Junior High and High School youth, ages 13-17. The Teen Center is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Teen activities include: Leadership activities, drop-in sports, homework help, computer lab, fitness programs, development workshops, tutoring, and youth excursions.
