ESS - Employee Self Service

ESS allows City of Anaheim Employees to view or manage their personal, benefits and payroll information.

These are some of the common activities performed in ESS:

  • Entering Timesheets
  • Viewing Benefits Coverage
  • Viewing Paystub and W2 information
  • Requesting Address and Emergency Contact Updates

ESS Availability: Unavailable

First Time User ID - User Name and Password

Your user ID is your Human Resources Employee ID located at the top of your paystub.

Your password includes the characters 'Ana-' followed by your birthday (MMDDYY) and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).

User Name and Password are case sensitive.

Example
Employee Information
Employee ID = 999999
Birthday = February 3, 1967
SSN = 555-55-5555
ESS User ID and Password
ESS User ID = 999999
ESS Password = Ana-0203675555

For security reasons, the system will prompt you to change your password the first time you log in. After successfully logging in, be sure to set up your Password Hints, which will allow you to reset your password yourself. Please see the Change your Password guide at myinfo.anaheim.net for password change instructions.
