The next General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The election will be for three (3) Council Member District Seats (Districts 1, 4, and 5), each for a term of four (4) years.
Individuals interested in running for City Council are encouraged to contact the City Clerk at (714) 765-5166 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org (the nomination period has closed).
Eligibility to Run for Anaheim City Council
- A citizen of the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Mayor: A resident and qualified elector of the City of Anaheim, at least 30 days immediately preceding the filing of nomination papers
- Council Member: A resident and qualified elector of the respective district, at least 30 days immediately preceding the filing of nomination papers
