Voter Registration Options

• Online: Visit the California Online Voter Registration website and complete the online application.  To register online you will need:
  - Your California driver license or California identification card number
  - The last four (4) digits of your Social Security number
  - Your date of birth
  
  
• By mail: Obtain a registration form from the City Clerk’s office, post office, libraries, Orange County Registrar of Voters, or DMV.  It is important that your voter registration application be filled out completely and be postmarked or hand-delivered to the Orange County Registrar of Voters at least 15 days before the election. Complete, sign, and mail the original form to the following address:

Voter Registration Deadline

• The deadline to register to vote for any election is 15 days before Election Day.  Registration for the November 8, 2022 election must be postmarked or submitted electronically no later than October 24, 2022.
• Conditional Voter Registration Period – During the 14 days prior to Election Day and including Election Day, an individual can go to the Orange County Registrar of Voters, or a Vote Center, to conditionally register to vote and vote a provisional ballot.

Vote Centers mean more voting options for voters - vote centers will be open for voting and registration for up to 4 days prior to election day and voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballot at any vote center throughout Orange County. Also, with this new voting model, all voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot in the mail prior to the election. Learn more
