Mobile Public Awareness through Citizen Education (PACE)

The Mobile Citizen Academy is designed to teach citizens about the philosophy, policies, and guiding principles of law enforcement and ethical conduct governing police services in our community. The 8 week course is a condensed version of the traditional 14 week PACE Class held at the Anaheim Police Department. Students receive basic classroom instruction by personnel from various areas throughout the police department including presentations from Homicide, Narcotics, K-9, and Gangs.

The Mobile PACE Classes will accommodate the needs of the residents and go out to a local school, community center, library or other local venue that will accommodate the classes.  There are 8 weekly classes which are scheduled during the week based on the availability of the residents attending the class.  Please contact your District Crime Prevention Specialist if you are interested in scheduling one in your neighborhood.

If you need help locating the District you live in, use our District map to find your Crime Prevention Specialist.

Graduates are encouraged to pursue various volunteer opportunities within the Police Department.
