The Finance Department assists other departments in the city in meeting their service objectives and is responsible for maintaining the city’s financial health and for monitoring and reporting on the financial position of the city. The department directs and manages the financial activities of the city and manages services provided to other city departments including:

- Mail Services
- Payroll
- Preparation of the city's annual financial statements
- Purchasing of Goods and Services
