The North Basin project is a proposed clean-up of groundwater led by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that touches on parts of north Anaheim.
The project is in the early phases and is set to play out over several years.
It is designed to address industrial contamination dating back to the 1950s and to ensure continued safe drinking water in north Orange County.
There are no concerns about the safety and quality of Anaheim’s drinking water.
