Workforce Development Board

The Anaheim Workforce Development Board oversees funding, provides strategic planning and develops policies that enhance workforce objectives. We do this by facilitating a framework that puts public policy to work on workforce development issues. That means special funding, laws, and programs can go to work for our community faster and more effectively.  We promote partnerships among businesses, local agencies, educational institutions, and the community, coordinating resources and working together to strengthen our community, businesses, and workforce.

An important tool of the Anaheim Workforce Development Board is Anaheim Workforce Connection. The programs offered by Anaheim Workforce Connection enhance the skills, employability, and training levels of the current and future workforce, including youth and adult jobseekers. It is an America's Job Center of California (AJCC), coordinating workforce development activities and local and regional economic development strategies into a continuum of services designed to connect qualified jobseekers with companies looking for the right talent.
