Anaheim partners with the Salvation Army to operate the Anaheim Emergency Shelter, which offers 325 beds to those wanting to transition from living in homelessness on our streets and in public spaces.
In addition to housing, the shelter provides individuals with case management, help finding permanent supportive housing, transportation to medical appointments and more.
For help getting into the shelter, call the Community Care Response Team at (714) 820-9090.
In coming months we'll celebrate the opening of Salvation Army's Center of Hope.
The Center of Hope will offer a comprehensive homeless care solution that combines the existing 325-bed low-barrier emergency shelter with 72 permanent supportive housing apartments, onsite medical, dental, and pet care, along with a 175-bed drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
