With the adoption of the 2008 California Energy Code in July 2009, there are new document and process requirements for certain permits effective January 1, 2010. View a summary of the changes for residential permits.
Note: Please make sure you have the required documents complete when you come to apply for a permit. Without these forms, we will not be able to process your permit the same day. There are also new requirements for non-residential permits. The California Energy Commission has all regulations, manuals, and forms available online. Some helpful links are provided below.

Projects Issued On or Before December 31, 2009
