ANAHEIM, Calif. (August 9, 2023) — Anaheim Central Library is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The library building, which sits at 500 W. Broadway Ave, opened its doors on December 5, 1963.
To celebrate the 60 years of impact, Central Library will host a 60th-anniversary celebration on Sunday, August 27, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
The event will consist of a scavenger hunt, raffles, and families can enjoy a birthday storytime featuring Seaseme street characters, Elmo and Cookie Monster, with a birthday cake-cutting ceremony.
The day will wrap with a performance from Sean Oliu and the Coastline Cowboys. Sean Oliu, who has performed nationwide, and has recently opened up for Leann Rimes.
