This 24.6-acre park is named in honor of Rudy Boysen, former Parks Superintendent and creator of the Boysenberry. Affectionately known as “Airplane Park,” a U.S. Navy Cougar jet airplane used in the Korean War has been a prominent playground fixture here since 1959.
