On March 15, 2022, the Anaheim City Council completed the redistricting process by adopting Ordinance No. 6527 that establishes Public Map 114 [https://anaheimredistricting.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Public-Map-114.pdf] as the new City Council district map, effective April 14, 2022. The new six-district map can be reviewed online at AnaheimRedistricting.org/Selected-Map/ [https://anaheimredistricting.org/selected-map/]
The new map implements changes to Districts 2, 3, 4, and 5 based on the 2020 Census and public input on communities of interest. The new district map does not include any changes to District 1 or District 6.
Voters who reside in Districts 2, 3, and 6 will vote for a Council member in November 2022 and voters who reside in Districts 1, 4, and 5 will vote for a Council member in November 2024. All Anaheim voters will continue to vote for the at-large Mayor during the November 2022 election.
